Accessibility
How the site works for assistive tech, known limitations, and how to report a problem.

What we aim for
PlayaHolbox is built against WCAG 2.1 AA guidance. The HTML is server-rendered and crawlable, headings are hierarchical, images use descriptive alt text, interactive controls have labels, and colour contrast meets the AA threshold in both light and dark system themes.
Keyboard
- Tab moves through every interactive control.
- The site search supports arrow-key navigation and Enter to open the highlighted result.
- Admin forms and the owner edit form support standard form submit via Enter.
Known limitations
- Interactive map: the Google Maps canvas on the /map page is a Google-provided component and inherits its accessibility quality. We ship a text-based directory on every category page as an alternative for keyboard and screen-reader users.
- Business-provided photos may not have descriptive alt text yet. The owner-edit flow will prompt owners to add captions in a future release.
